Northumberland Community bank
Northumberland Community Bank brings together two successful, community focused financial organisations.
The Credit Union for South East Northumberland (CUSEN) and Tynedale Community Bank (TCB) are now a single entity serving the whole of the county.
We offer secure savings and loan facilities as a local, friendly alternative to High Street banks and lenders, with face-to-face access available to people throughout Northumberland.
We are keen to grant loans to anybody who needs financial assistance. Loans can be for a variety of purposes, including a luxury purchase, holidays, emergencies and consolidation of existing borrowing - most purposes will be considered.
The community bank is also part of the Lifesavers Project, which helps to promote financial education in schools, and to help children manage money wisely, as well as offering Payroll Deduction schemes to make saving easier for those in employment.

We are a ‘not for profit’ enterprise, which means any surplus made by the Bank will be ploughed back into our local communities.
